成都中医药大学建校于1956年，是新中国最早建立的四所中医药高等院校之一。历经60余年的建设发展，已成为一所以中医药学科为主体、医药健康相关学科专业相互支撑、协调发展的特色鲜明的高水平中医药大学，是教育部、四川省人民政府、国家中医药管理局共建高校，国家新一轮“双一流”建设高校，国家高等学校学科创新引智基地。

　　Founded in 1956, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or CDUTCM, is one of the four earliest-established higher education institutions of TCM since the founding of People’s Republic of China. After more than 60 years of construction and development, it has become a high-level university of TCM with distinctive characteristics with the discipline of TCM as the principal part, featuring the mutual support and coordinated development of medicine and health-related disciplines. It is a fully-fledged university co-administered by China’s Ministry of Education (MOE), People’s Government of Sichuan Province, and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NATCM), and is listed under the new round of Double First-Class Project of China, as well as a national disciplinary innovation and intelligence-attraction base for colleges and universities.

　　成都中医药大学中医眼科学科由著名中医眼科学家陈达夫教授创建于1956年，是国家级重点学科、国家中医药管理局高水平重点学科、四川省重点学科、国家首批临床重点专科、国家中医药管理局重点专科。

　　The discipline of TCM ophthalmology of CDUTCM was established in 1956 by Professor Chen Dafu, a renowned TCM ophthalmologist in China. It is a national key discipline, a high-level key discipline of NATCM, a key discipline of Sichuan Province, the first batch of national clinical key specialties, and a key specialty of NATCM.

　　2015年学校整合成都中医药大学眼科医疗、教学、科研等相关资源，正式设立眼科学院。2016年依托眼科学院建立成都中医药大学附属银海眼科医院，与学院实行“院院分设、一体化管理”创新管理模式，医院定位为产教融合、研究型医院。2017年经四川省科技厅批准设立四川省眼与视觉健康产业技术研究院，形成医、教、产三院发展模式。

　　In 2015, the Eye School of CDUTCM was officially founded integrating ophthalmic medical care, teaching, research and other resources of CDUTCM. Based on the Eye School, the affiliated Ineye Hospital of CDUTCM was established in 2016, which implements an innovative management model of “separate establishment and integrated management of the Eye School and Ineye Hospital” with the Eye School. The hospital is positioned as a research-oriented hospital integrating industry and education. In 2017, the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province approved the establishment of the Sichuan Eye and Vision Health Industry Technology Research Institute, forming a synchronous development model of the Hospital, the Eye School, and the Research Institute.
